Vegan gravy

Ingredients
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil 1/2 cup, chopped Onions, raw 3 clove Garlic 1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour 1 Tbsp Red Star, Nutritional Yeast, Vegetarian Support Formula 2 tbsp Soy Sauce 1 1/2 cup Vegetable Broth 1/4 tsp Sage, ground 1/2 cup watersalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in flour, nutritional yeast, and cook for about 5 minutes or until they brown. Gradually whisk in the broth, water and soy sauce . Season with sage, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring constantly, for 8 to 10 minutes, or until thickened.
