Turkey Sausage and Black Bean Soup

Ingredients
1 lb Turkey SausageTomato Paste (3/4 of small can)1 small onion1 tsp ground cumin.5 tsp crushed red pepper flakes.5 tsp garlic powder.5 tsp black pepper1 540 ml can black beans (approx. 2 cups)100 grams of baby carrots sliced1 cup celery sliced1 can corn 6 cups water salt to taste
Directions
Remove sausage from casing and form into small meatballs. In a large pot heat up 1 tsp of oil and fry meatballs lightly.

Remove meatballs and drain on paper towel. Add onions and cook until softened. Add crushed pepper flakes, pepper and garlic and cook for another minute.

Return meatballs to pot. Add tomato paste and stir for another minute. Add water, carrots, celery and black beans.

Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes. In the last 10 minutes add the corn. Season to taste.
