Directions
Approx 2 lbs. ground turkey2 cloves of garlic, minced fineGinger, fresh, grated (2 tsp)6 Green onions1 package (appox 50) won ton wraps3 TB soy sauce1 TB dark sesame oil
1. Mix ground turkey, minced green onion, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil in a large bowl.
2. put about a tsp. of mixture in 1 won ton wrap. fold to close (can use water around inside edge to make sure the wrap adheres to itself)
3. brown lightly in cooking oil. This will not cook the meat but brown the wrap. Set aside.
4. when all wraps are nicely browned, place in a steamer rack and steam them until you are assured the meat is cooked. (about 4 min. in a steamer is fine)
serve with soy sauce or any other soy based dip. I like to mix 2 parts soy, to 1 part vingegar and a few drops of sesame oil as a dip base for my dumplings.
