Crock Pot Lasagna

Ingredients
16 oz 93% Lean Ground Beef 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 3 cloves Garlic 708.7 grams Crushed Tomatoes 425.2 grams Tomato Sauce 1 serving 2 tsp Italian Seasoning (by JULIE1933) 12 oz Ricotta cheese, fat-free 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk 168 gram(s) Barilla Whole Grain Lasagna Noodles
Directions
Brown the beef with the onion and garlic. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and italian seasoning. Reduce heat to low and let simmer about 5 minutes to blend the flavors.

In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese and 4 oz. of the mozzarella cheese.

Begin layering the lasagna in the crockpot:
Layer 1: 1/3 of the beef mixture
Layer 2: 3 lasagna sheets
Layer 3: 1/2 of the cheese mixture
Layer 4: 1/3 of the beef mixture
Layer 5: 3 Lasagna sheets
Layer 6: the remaining cheese mixture
Layer 7: the remaining beef mixture.

Cook on low for 6 hours.

After the lasagna has completed cooking, turn the crockpot off and put the remaining 4 oz. of mozzarella on top, replace the lid and let sit until the mozzarella has melted.

Serving Size: 1/6 of the lasagna, approximately 1 cup
