1 small Onions, raw 4 clove Garlic 1 tsp Ginger, ground 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 tsp Turmeric, ground 1/4 tsp Mustard seed, yellow 1 tsp Coriander leaf, dried 4 cup Chicken stock, home-prepared 4 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1/4 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Saute chopped onions in oil for 2 minutes and add in all spices. Cook additional 1 minute then add in liquids. Simmer about 15 minutes and use as base to any Middle Eastern soup.
Add garnish or other substance for variety like chicken, kale, spinach, beans, or anything. Calories only include base of soup.
