1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil4 tsp Ginger Root, grated3 cloves Garlic, crushed1/2 tsp Chili paste (Sambal Olek)1 lb Pork loin, diced 1 large Onion4 stalks celery2 Leeks3 large Carrots6 cups chopped Cabbage2 1tsp Sesame Oil 1 tbsp Ketjap Manis Indonesian Soy Sauce340 grams Egg Noodles45 grams Conimex Mix 1 tsp Turmeric, ground 1 tsp Cumin, ground 1 tsp Coriander, ground
Cook the noodles according to package directions.
Re-hydrate the seasoning mix in 100 ML of boiled water, and let stand for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, add the olive oil, ginger, garlic and chili paste, and saute for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Add the diced pork and stir fry until browned, about 5 minutes.
Drizzle the sesame oil over top.
Add the celery and onion, stir fry for 2-4 minutes.
Add the carrots and leeks, stir fry for 2-4 minutes.
Add the cabbage, stir fry for 4-5 minutes.
Add the Ketjap Manis (or soy sauce), rehydrated seasoning mix, and spices.
Mix in the noodles.
Season with extra Chili paste to taste.
Serving Size: 8 1.5 cup servings
