Shazzorama's Corn Bread

Ingredients
Egg, fresh, 2 large Indian head stone ground yellow corn meal, 1 cup Heckers Self rising flour, 1 cup Onions, raw, .5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Olive Oil, 1 tbsp Cereals, QUAKER, hominy grits, white, quick, dry, 148 grams Butter Milk, 1 cupBaking powder 1 tablespoon
Directions
Mix everything together with a fork and pour into a greased pan. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 450 degrees for 25 minutes till it rises and is done. Let cool and slice into 8 pieces. Tastes the best next day!!!
