1 serving Pam's Olive Oil Cooking Spray .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 1 tsp Garlic 16 oz Jennie-O Ground Turkey 85% .25 cup Tomato Sauce .5 cup Campbell's low sodium chicken broth 1 tbsp Cilantro, raw 222 gram(s) bell pepper, red, sweet, raw 1 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
STEP 1: Heat oven to 400°F. Lightly coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray place over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Sauté for two minutes or until softened. Add ground turkey. Break meat apart and cook over medium heat for 14 to 16 minutes, or until well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
STEP 2: Add tomato sauce and ¼ cup broth. Reduce heat to low and simmer for five minutes. Add cilantro.
STEP 3: Cut peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds and stem. Place in baking dish. Spoon ⅓ cup of the turkey mixture into each pepper half. Pour remaining ¼ cup chicken broth in the bottom of the baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake 35 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
Serving Size: 1/2 pepper
