Ingredients
1.0 cup Flour, white0.75 cup Whole Wheat Flour1.0 tsp Baking Soda0.5 tsp Salt1.5 tsp Cinnamon, ground1.0 tsp Nutmeg, ground0.25 tsp Cloves, ground0.25 cup Butter, salted0.25 cup Pumpkin, canned, without salt0.75 cup, unpacked Brown Sugar1.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw1.0 cup Applesauce, unsweetened
Directions
Sift flour spices and salt together 3 times. Cream butter pumpkin and butter until fluffy. Add egg and beat thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and applesauce alternately beating well after each addition . pour into greased square cake pan and bake 45-60 minutes at 350°
