Haaversen family basic bread

Ingredients
1 1/2 c hot tap water3 Tbsp butter1/3 c sugar1 large egg1 tsp salt3 c whole wheat flour2 c bread flour3 tsp vital wheat gluten4 tsp yeast
Directions
Place liquids into bread machine first, add the egg, butter, salt and sugar. Add the flours, wheat gluten and yeast. Process on dough cycle. When machine is done, place dough on cutting board and let rest for a minute. Cut into 4 equal balls, form into loaves and place into 4 mini bread pans(I use pampered chef stoneware) or freeform loaves, rolls or buns. Let rise about 30 min and bake at 350 for bread 25-30 min. Or 375 for buns or rolls. Make sure loaves or rolls are a nice golden brown. As soon as the rolls or bread come out of the oven lightly brush with melted butter. For rolls this recipe makes about 32, depending on size you choose.
