2 cup Flour, white 2 cup Granulated Sugar 1 cup Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened 2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 8 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil 2 tsp Baking Soda 1.5 tsp Baking Powder 1 cup Lactaid 2% Milk 1 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
combine dry ingredients and whisk thoroughly. add milk, eggs, oil, and vanilla and mix until smooth. boil one cup of water and add slowly while mixing. grease and flour two 8" round pans, and cook at 350 for 30 minutes. let cool for one hour, then cool on rack an additional 30 minutes before icing. can be eaten plain, or use light whipped topping to ice.
