Some great additions would be black olives, green or red onion, roasted red peppers, crumbled feta, fresh basil (which I wish I had on hand right now), and/or a little italian salami (diced up small). Sun dried tomatoes would be good too if you don't have any fresh ones on hand :) - 4/9/10

Delicious! I substituted 1 cup of wholegrain pasta and added some red pepper and red onion too. Was moist and yummy! - 7/2/09

Great. I would just use a little less Italian dressing. - 7/21/08

This is how I always make my pasta salad and it goes like "hot cakes" I actually have to make 2 batches so my hubby and I can eat it throughout the week also! - 5/25/10

I used Schwan's bow tie pasta mix which has peas, corn, carrots, and red bell pepper. I did not have cucumber on hand, but sure it would have been yummy. - 3/24/10

I'll make this with whole wheat pasta and add a few table spoons of Fat Free Sour Cream to get a different consistency. And then lots of ground black pepper of course!!! - 6/10/09

I've added scallions, peppers (any color), sun dried tomatoes and an other kind of veggie you think you'd enjoy in the salad. I also used a dash of Italian seasoning. - 6/2/17

I made this tonight, but used whole wheat pasta and added green peppers and broccoli. I liked it and have enough to take for some lunches this week. - 8/17/13

I would alter the 2 cups of veggies by swapping some of them out for red onion, bell pepper & celery. :) - 10/27/11

I switched out for whole grain pasta and added mozzarella instead of parm, and some peppers, olives, and salami! It was super yummy and everyone loved it! Thanks for sharing! - 6/30/11

Pretty much the recipe I use, but I add about 1 tsp. of Mrs Dash garlic & herb seasoning. I often use fresh broccoli, bell pepper, green onions, carrots, celery, and black olives. Very easy recipe to use whatever you have at hand. - 5/13/11

It was okay. Next time I think I'll add some black olives. And there was quite a bit of dressing so I'll use less of that next time. - 3/24/11
