I added a couple of table spoons of unsweetened applesauce to combat dryness & I used light butter instead of shortening. They aren't super peanut buttery if you only use a tablespoon of PB. Really good cookie texture for very low calories though. With the changes & whole wheat flour cal was 30 - 11/28/08

TB is not a unit of measure. Tb= tab? or TB= Tablespoon aka Tbsp - 12/9/11

I made them using kraft whipped peanut butter and egg whites as well as becel light margarine for the shortening. They came out very light and moist. I will double or triple the recipe next time. - 10/31/10

these were very dry, and it's a shame, because they could have been rather good. I recommend using more peanut butter or a teaspoon or two of vegetable oil. Also, butter instead of shortening... gross. - 8/14/08

I followed the recipe but these came out very dry. And all I could taste was the Splenda I put in instead of Equal.

I was very surprised by these. Made them for afternoon treat for my kids. I used a real egg instead of substitute, spenda instead of equal (6 packets), and added just a dash of almond extract. My daughter loved them. - 5/21/08

I made these today. I love them because they are so quick and easy to make, and it doesn't make too many cookies. I made it with real egg as well. I might try putting a T. or 2 of oatmeal in it next time. But then it might be too dry so I might have to add a tad bit more shortening or something. - 5/17/08
