Basic no-fat-added lentil soup

Ingredients
3 cup Lentils (cooked, or 1 cup raw/rinsed/sorted)3 carrots, chopped1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw, chopped10 clove Garlic, mincedminced hot peppers to taste, optional2 tsp Salt 1 Italian tomato, chopped
Directions
Toss it all in a soup pot with just enough water to cover, bring to boil, lower heat, simmer 20-30 minutes uncovered, and serve. I love it with croutons, but I didn't count that in the nutritional info here.
