Rutabagaseasoning SaltExtra Virgin Olive oil
Cut rutabaga into fries, boil for 20 minutes, or until they start to become soft.
Drain and stir in olive oil to coat the fries.
Then sprinkel with seasoning salt or whatever you may want to season with.
Bake at 400 cel. for 30 minutes or so. Remove and enjoy.

These are absolutely delicious and they will be a regular item in my recipe rotation.
I only gave it 4 stars because I had difficulty getting them to crisp. I tried leaving them in the oven a little longer but they went from soggy to burnt without ever getting to that happy crispy state. - 11/27/11

These are pretty good, and a nice substitute for potato fries. My kids didn't realize that they weren't potatoes at all, until one tried them without catsup. They did take a really long time to crisp up, though. I baked them for about 50 minutes. I hadn't a clue what to do with my rutabaga before. - 2/23/10
