8 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper 4 cup Tomato Sauce -- Prego heart smart Italian sauce (by FCASTELO) 3 cup White Rice, long grain, cooked 2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated 1 large Onions, raw 32 oz Ground Beef (lean) 12 oz Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk 1 tbsp Oregano, ground .25 tsp Rosemary, dried 2 tbsp Parsley, dried 2 tbsp Garlic powder
Cut tops off peppers, and hollow out. Save tops
Cook rice according to directions
Chop onion and tops of peppers. Sauté in pan. Remove when soft
Brown ground beef
Pour about 1 inch of sauce in bottom of pan, placing the hollowed peppers up right.
In bowl mix spices, parm, meat, rice, veggies and remaining sauce.
Fill each pepper with mix, cover with tin foil. Bake for 35 minutes. Top with mozzarella continue baking for 10 minutes.
