Cherries Dole Dark Sweet Frozen 3 cups3 tbsp Butter, unsalted, melted 4 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar 1 1/4 cup Flour, white 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 tsp almond extract 3/4 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk) pinch of salt
Use the butter to grease a quiche pan, or any round baking dish. Don't forget the edges! Sprinkle a generous tablespoon of your sugar in greased pan, distributed evenly. Add your cherries. In a separate bowl, add the eggs, remaining sugar and salt. mix well. add flour, vanilla extract, almond extract, melted butter and milk to the egg mixture. beat until smooth. pour mixture evenly over the cherries and bake for 45 min at 350 degrees F until golden brown. sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve!
