Baked Apples

2 large apples1 cup apple juice1 box (.5 oz) raisins (snack size)2 tablespoons packed brown sugar1 tablespoon butter1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Partially core each apple, making sure to leave the bottom intact so that the filling does not run out.
Peel a thin strip around the middle of the apple to prevent bursting, and place apples in a greased 8x8 dish.
Fill each apple with half the raisins, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/2 tablespoon butter and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour some of the apple juice over the apples, and the rest in the bottom of the baking dish.
Cover dish with foil and bake for one hour.
