1 tbsp Olive Oil 1 large Onions, raw 2 tbsp Garlic powder 2 unit, yield from 1 lb raw Ground Turkey 3.75 cup Goya Black Beans 2 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper 1587 grams Crushed Tomatoes 1.5 tbsp Chili powder 1.5 tbsp Oregano, ground 1 tbsp Basil 0.5 tbsp Cumin seed 1.5 tbsp (C) Vinegar, Red Wine (Gr Value) 1 can (12 oz) yields Yellow Sweet Corn, Canned 1.5 can (6 oz) Tomato Paste
1. Chop onions and green bell peppers
2. in skillet, heat olive oil. Add in onion and bell pepper and ground turkey. Brown.
3. Add in garlic powder, chili powder, oregano, basil, and cumin. Mix to fully incorporate and allow to simmer until onions are translucent and peppers are tender.
4. In crock pot, add in crushed tomatoes, corn (drained), black beans with liquid, red wine vinegar, and tomato paste. Mix well.
5. Pour in turkey mixture and stir till well blended.
6. Set crock pot on high for 2 - 3 hours cooking or on low for 6 to 8 hours cooking.
Can be served alone or topped with a sprinkling of shredded cheese of choice. It can also be served over or to the side of brown rice or in addition to a tossed salad and corn chips with salsa. The serving combinations are endless. Enjoy!
