Ingredients
1.0 cup Peas and carrots, frozen1.0 cup Brown Rice - Instant (1/2 c uncooked - 43g)0.5 serving Peru Sweet Onions (1 med raw onion = Serv), chopped4.0 oz Eckrich - Smoked Sausage(pork,turkey,beef), cut into bite sized pieces
Directions
Cut sausage into bite sized pieces and brown over medium heat. Remove sausage and set aside, leaving any renderings. Add onion and sautee until brown. Add sausage, uncooked brown rice, and frozen peas and carrots. Add water and follow rice directions. Fluff rice dish and serve. Serving Size: Makes 3 servings
