Low-Fat Alfredo Sauce

1 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk) 1 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil Margarine 1 1/2 tbsp Flour, white 3 tbsp Cheese (Grated) - Parmesan Cheese - Kraft 100% 1 tsp Minced Garlic1/4 tsp Pepper, black
PATIENCE!!! Add ingredients gradually!
1. Melt margarine in saucepan with medium heat
2. Gradually whisk in flour to create paste
3. Gradually add milk, whisking until no lumps
4. Continue whisking until hot.
5. Lower heat and cook for about 3-5 minutes. Keep whisking to prevent from sticking and lumping. The longer you cook the thicker it will become.
6. Whisk in parmesan.
7. Add garlic and pepper
8. Continue to heat on low-med for another 2 min. Remember to whisk to keep it smooth!
9. Remove from heat and serve!
