Tip: Make this 24 hours in advance. When I made this recipe and tasted it, I thought it was awful - all I tasted was shallot. But I decided not to panic and put it in the fridge overnight to give the flavors time to combine. By morning it tasted pretty good and by that night it was great! - 7/22/10

I am not using every single ingredient in this salad as said, but I am using the idea of bacon and Dijonmustard. Will be using peas and carrots along with some baby spinach too. Thanks! - 6/3/12

This is delicious! I did have to make two substitutions as I did not have any white wine vinegar or peas so instead I used seasoned rice vinegar and green pepper. This is our new favorite pasta salad! :D - 6/19/11

This was a HUGE hit with my family! I added some cherry tomatoes right before serving it and used whole wheat corkscrew noodles, only because I couldn't find macaroni and wanted to use the whole wheat. This is an AWESOME recipe, definitely a keeper! - 9/1/08
