Tortellini and Ham

5.5 cup Three Cheese Tortellini - Priano (Aldi Brand) .5 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper .5 cup Peppers, sweet, red, raw 3 tbsp Butter, salted 1.25 cup, diced Ham, regular (11% fat) 1 tsp Garlic .5 tbsp Argo Cornstarch .5 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth .33 tbsp Basil .5 tsp Parsley, dried .25 tsp Pepper, black 4 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated
Cook tortellini according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute pepper strips in butter until crisp-tender. Add ham and garlic; saute 1 minute longer.
Combine the cornstarch, broth, basil, parsley and pepper; stir into pepper mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Add 2 tablespoons cheese. Drain tortellini; toss with ham mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Yield: 4 servings.
Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
