BBQ Tofu Cubes (Vegan)

Ingredients
Tofu, firm, 1 block1 cup of vegan Barbecue sauce1 cup of water2 tablespoons of lite sodium soy sauce1 tablespoon of hot sauce (I usually add more!)2 tablespoons of granulated sugar1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions
Dice tofu into cubes about the size of small cubes. Heat oil in frying pan and add tofu. Saute on medium until the tofu starts to turn a light golden color.

Meanwhile, combine the rest of the ingredients. Stir this sauce and add it to the tofu.

Continue to cook on medium until the sauce has thickened.

This will make 2 adult servings,(4 side dish servings).
Serves: 2 to 4

    Delicious. I didn't have soy sauce so I substituted teriyaki and it was fine. I cut the sugar in half and I suggest doing the same unless you have a real sweet tooth. - 4/3/09
