Beef and Barley Soup

Ingredients
20 oz Boneless Stewing Beef--choice chuck 2 cans Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano 4 fl oz Red Wine 2 cup kernels Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen 1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, fresh 2 cup Beef stock, home-prepared 1 cup Barley, pearled, cooked
Directions
Sear meat with any seasonings desired. Add tomatoes, stock and wine. Simmer for at least an hour. Add corn, mushrooms and barley. Simmer another 30 minutes.
