Chili, with Turkey and Kidney Beans

Ingredients
2 lbs. ground turkey1 onion, chopped1 green pepper chopped (optional)1 can kidney beans1 small can of tomato paste1 large can of chopped tomatoes4 TB chili powderdash of garlic powderdash of red pepper flakes to taste1 tsp salt1 tsp sugar substitute (optional)
Directions
Brown Turkey with Onion, drain. Add next 8 ingredients. Cook for 20 minutes, simmered on Med. low. Serve with cornbread or crackers and shredded cheese.

    Just tried this recipe the other day and really liked it. I accidentally added a can of tomato sauce instead of paste... but it worked out ok anyways. I also added some cumin because i love the flavor it gives chili. Will deff. make again :) - 2/22/09
