Marinara Sauce III

  • Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients
7 cup canned diced tomatoes ( 58 oz)1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper6 teaspoons minced garlic 2 tbsp vegetable oil (or olive oil can be used)1/2 cup chopped onion1 tsp salt1/4 teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon dried basil
Directions
Cook on stove top or put in crock pot and cook about 8 hours on low.*

If a smooth sauce is desired, let cool and put in processor. Reheat,

*I prefer to use crock pot.


Serving Size: Approcimately 6 cups 12 servings of 1/2 cup
