Orange and Date Steamed Pudding

1 cup White Flour1/2 cups Wholegrain Flour1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder1/2 cup Splenda1/2 cup Dates, chopped finely1/8 tsp salt1/3 cup Applesauce1 small Egg2 tsp Orange Peel, grated1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract1/2 cup Orange Juice1/2 cup Non Fat Milk
Mix first five ingredients together in bowl.
Whisk all other ingredients together and mix into the dry ingredients. If too dry add a little water until it resembles a thick batter.
Pour into greased pudding bowl, cover and simmer/steam in a pot filled 1/2 way up with boiling water for @ 2 hours.
Serve with sugar free maple syrup and fat free yogurt.
NOTE: Check every so often to make sure water does not boil dry.
