Shirley's Low Sodium Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
3 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper 16 oz Meijer Frozen Ground Turkey 3.5 serving Meijer No Salt Tomato Sauce, 7 servings 2 serving Meijer No Salt Diced Tomatoes, 3.5 serving can .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 0.25 cup Kraft Shredded 2% Mexican Four Cheese blend
Directions
Brown ground turkey until all pink is gone. Mix in one can of Sloppy Joe Sauce and simmer for 8 minutes. While this is simmering, wash and split bell peppers in half leaving stem. Clean out seeds and membranes with a spoon. Place in 9 x 13 pan that has been sprayed with spray oil. Fill each pepper half evenly with meat. Cover baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 25 minutes. Remove top and sprinkle with shredded cheese. Return to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. One 4 oz serving would be 1.5 peppers.
