2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 3 clove Garlic 4 tsp Cinnamon, ground 1.5 tbsp *McCormick ground cumin (by CHGOMOMMA) 1.5 tsp Cardamom, ground .25 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne 1 tsp Turmeric, ground .5 tsp Salt .5 tsp Pepper, black 72 oz Baked Chicken Thigh (bone in w/out skin) 2 cup, cubes Butternut Squash 1 cup, packed Raisins, golden seedless 1 cup Swanson Chicken Fat Free Chicken Broth Less Sodium 50 grams Cilantro, raw .25 cup, slivered Almonds
In small bowl mix oil, minced garlic, cinnamon, cumin, cardamon, cayenne, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Place chicken in slow cooker and rub spice/oil mixture all over thighs. Add peeled, diced squash, raisins and chicken broth on top of chicken. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Serve chicken and sauce over plain. prepared couscous.
