Simple as can be. I made this with 5 chicken breasts, one jar of Southwest Chipotle Salsa, and put in the crockpot on high for 4 hours, and low for 1 hour. Absolutely fantastic....and you don't have to shred the chicken. We ate ours whole, serving them over brown rice...using the sauce on the rice - 7/4/08

I make this probably once a week. The other day I had some boneless pork chops and did the same thing. Instant carnitas! Eeveryone LOVED it. I make this for large groups too and have served over 300 with it. Just made it in big foil pans over a huge BBQ. Perfect. - 7/11/11

Everyone enjoyed this my husband, 4 kids and my brother-n-law. I added about a half a cup of cheese to the top of the salsa. - 7/11/11

Everyone loved this one too! Shredded the chicken for the last hour or so and served with brown rice but would have been great in soft taco or over salad too! Friend suggested adding 1/2 packet of taco seasoning - gave it a little kick - yummy and so easy - thanks!! - 9/13/10

Simple & great way to make the beginnings of several great meals throughout the week. Tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, or on a salad - gets nice & tender & shredded. Yum! - 3/15/08

This was delicious and let me tell you, I'm a HUGE fan of two ingredient meals. Cooking just isn't my thing, but this was so easy and pretty darned good if you ask me. Two thumbs up. - 10/3/07

I add a can of crushed pineapple for a sweet and sour effect, very yummy! I put an individual breast in a sandwich bag and freeze for my lunch bag. Good over whole wheat pasta too. - 10/2/07

I make this all the time (I didn't realize it was a recipe here) :). The only thing I do different is add some type of whole grain (barley, wheat, oats, etc...). They 'disappear' in the recipe but I thought it was a good way to get a whole grain in. - 10/2/07
