Grit Fries

Ingredients
1 tsp Salt 1 tbsp Olive Oil 1 cup Stone Ground Grits 1 tsp Pepper, black 1 tsp Salt .5 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whip Heavy Whipping Cream 3.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
Directions
1. Rinse grits in water, bring measured water to a boil and add grits, stirring as you add
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring consistently. add butter and cream.
3. prep baking sheet with non-stick spray and pour hot grits to cool.
4. once completely cooled cut into 3 in long strip, coat with olive oil and place on baking sheet. Bake on 350 for 15 minutes or until grits have firmed up and have a golden color
