32 oz slices Okra 2 cup Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added 1 medium Onions ,diced2 tsp Garlic 4 cup CHICKEN BROTH ORGANIC MEMBERS MARK 1 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend 2 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Original Blend 24 oz Cod (fish) 1 tsp Dill weed, dried 1 tbsp Pepper, black 1/4 cup Tomato Paste 4 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Bay Leaf 1 serving Gumbo File (by FITSUNE)
Directions
IF USING FRESH OKRA CLEAN AND SLICE. COOK IN THE OIL IN A DEEP HEAVY POT. COOK UNTIL OKRA IS COOKED DOWN. ADD ONIONS GARLIC AND SPICES. (EXCEPT FOR THE FILE) ADD ADD 2 CUPS OF WATER AND COOK UNTIL ONIONS ARE SOFT. ADD CHICKEN BROTH TOMATO PASTE AND DICED TOMATOES. COOK DOWN TO A SOFT BOIL. KEEP STIRRING TO KEEP FROM BURNING. DICE THE FISH INTO BITE SIZE PIECES. ADD TO GUMBO ADD REST OF WATER, COOK UNTIL FISH IS DONE AND ALL FLAVORS ARE BLENDED.
