Simple Oriental Lentils

1 tbsp Sunflower Oil 1 clove Garlic, diced2 tsp Ginger Root, diced1 tsp Paprika 0.5 tbsp Chili powder 0.5 tsp Cumin seed 0.5 tsp Cinnamon, ground 0.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 0.5 cup, diced Celery, raw 75 grams Lentils 225 grams Vegetable BrothSalt and Pepper to taste30 grams Yogurt, plain, low fat
On high heat, fry the diced garlic and ginger in the sunflower oil. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes
Mix paprika, chili, cinnamon and cumin and add it to the pan and combine with the garlic and ginger.
Add onion and celery and cook for a 3-4 minutes.
Add lentils and broth and bring to a boil. Let simmer for at least 20 minutes or until lentils have reached the desired consistency.
Once done season with salt and pepper to your liking.
Add two table spoons of yogurt on top of your plate.
Serving Size: Makes 1 serving
