Homemade Vanilla Macchiato Iced

0.6 cup Granulated Sugar 0.6 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 cup Milk, 1% 4 oz Cold brew iced coffee
For the syrup
1. Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan.
2. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
3. Add the vanilla, stir lightly and set aside to cool.
For the drink
1. Once the syrup has cooled poor 1-2 teaspoons (depending on how strong you like your coffee) of the syrup into a glass and add ice about half way up the glass.
2. Add in the milk until about 2/3 the way up the glass.
3. Add the espresso, stir lightly and serve.
Serving Size: 1 to 2 drinks
