0.5 cup Butter, softened1.0 cup Granulated Sugar2.0 large Egg1 2/3 cup Flour1.0 tsp Baking Powder0.5 tsp Salt0.5 cup Milk1.0 cup Blueberries, fresh0.5 tsp lemon zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x5x3 loaf pan.
Whisk together softened butter & sugar; beat in eggs.
In a separate bowl, sift flour with baking powder & salt.
Add to butter mixture alternately with the milk.
Mix until just combined.
Fold in blueberries and lemon zest. Pour bread batter into prepared pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove from pan. Cool completely.
