Penne Alla Vodka with bacon

Ingredients
One box Barilla Pasta, Penne 6 slices of pancetta or bacon6 cloves Garlic, minced1 tsp crushed red pepper flakesOne 28 of can Crushed Tomatoes 1/4 cup Vodka 3/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream 1 tsp Parsley, dried
Directions
Cook penne according to package instructions.
Slice and cook bacon* until brown or crispy. Add garlic a few minutes or until brown
Add crushed tomatoes, crushed red pepper flakes, and vodka and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add cream. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes.
Add penne and mix to coat. top with parsley and serve.

*To make vegetarian, use 1/4 cup olive oil instead of the bacon fat to saute garlic.
