Somewhat Low fat Macaroni and cheese

1.25 cup Cream of Chicken Soup 4 serving Great Value Elbow Macaroni Noodles (1/2 c dry) 2 cup Cheese - Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese 4 tbsp Butter, unsalted, divided into 12 pats1.25 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk) 1 tbsp Salt optional
Heat oven to 350.
Cook macaroni per box instructions. Once cooked place in pan sprayed with nonstick spray.
Place 12 pats of butter all over macaroni; sprinkle with salt (optional), and set aside.
Cook condensed soup per can instructions but use skim milk instead over low to medium heat setting.
Once soup is heated add 1 1/2 cups of cheese. Stir until cheese melts.
Pour cheese mixture over macaroni and stir.
Place remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top of macaroni and cheese mixture.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until cheese browns slightly.
Serving Size: Makes 8 1/2 cup servings
