One pot cheesy pumpkin pasta

12.0 oz Pasta, whole wheat elbows1.0 small Onions, raw3.0 clove Garlic1.0 cup, mashed Pumpkin, cooked4.0 cup Vegetable Broth1.0 tsp Salt0.25 tsp Pepper, black0.14 tsp Nutmeg, ground2.0 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, unsalted4.0 oz Cream Cheese
1. In a large pot, add all but butter and cream cheese. Stir together, and put on the stove over medium/high heat. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat and let simmer for approximately 10 minutes, or until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally.
2. Add butter and cream cheese cubes, stir until the cheese is melted.
3. Serve warm
