2 cup Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free 1 to 1 Baking Flour (by DEX82DAX) .33 tbsp Xanthan Gum - Bob's Red Mill (by CEELEE53) 1 tsp Baking Powder .25 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Salt (table) (by CYNDYY1) 1 cup, packed Brown Sugar 2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 8 tbsp Shortening, Crisco 16 tbsp Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Chips
Sift together dry ingredients and set aside, cream together shortening and brown sugar in mixer on med speed, till fluffy then add eggs one at a time. Blend in vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients till well mixed, then put in chocolate chips and mix. batter will be stiff.
Spread in a greased 11x7 baking pan, an 8x8 will work also.
bake in a preheated 325 degree oven 35 min or until done.
