Herbed Brown Rice

1 c. uncooked brown rice1 1/2 c fat free chicken broth3/4 c water1/2 tea low sodium soy sauce1/2 tea garlic powder1/8 tea dried rosemary, crushed2 tea. lemon juice
In a skillet, lightly brown uncooked rice. Place browned rice on a baking sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
In a medium saucepan combine chicken broth, water, soy sauce, garlic powder and rosemary. Bring to a boil: add rice. Returning to boil; reduce heat. Simmer, covered for 45 minutes or until water is absorbed. Stir in lemon juice.
Can also add 1/4 c chopped pimentos at this time.
