Clamy Clam Chowder

Ingredients
10 strips Bacon, diced 2 tbsp Butter, unsalted 2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw 1 leek 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 3 clove Garlic 2 cup diced Potato, raw 16 fl oz Clam juice, canned 0.33 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour 2 cup Half and Half Cream 3 cup Clams, canned, meat only .5 tsp Pepper, black .5 tsp Salt .5 tsp Thyme, ground 1 Bay Leaf
Directions
Saute onion, garlic, leeks, and celery in butter
cook bacon to crisp and dice
add clam juice, Clams, potatoes and spices
Boil 20 minutes then add flour and half and half
simmer for 10 min.
Makes 8 cups.
