Slow Cooker Creamed Ham

2T unsalted butter.25 cup unbleached flour2.5 cup (divided) 1% milk.25 cup half & half1T parsley flakes3 cube chicken bouillon .25 tsp ground oregano.125 tsp dried basil .125 tsp ground thyme 2 oz Romano cheese8 oz fresh mushrooms 16 oz diced ham
Wash and slice the mushrooms.
Melt butter in a saucepan or skillet over medium low heat.
Stir in flour.
Stir in 2 cup milk, and the half&half.
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Stir until bouillon cubes have melted and are mixed in thoroughly.
Pour mixture into slow cooker.
Cook on low 1-2 hours.
Can be served over baked potatoes and topped with shredded cheese and/or sour cream if desired, but keep calorie count in mind.
