912 gram(s) Bronze Chief 100% Whole Wheat Flour Wheat Montana (rg) 1 serving active dry yeast ( 1 pk) (by CBOWMAN82) 1 tbsp Shortening 1 tbsp Honey 1 tbsp Molasses 1 tbsp Salt 3 cup Milk - Skim (Non Fat)
Soften yeast in water. Combine melted shortening, honey, molasses, salt, and scaled milk. Let cool to a lukewarm temperature and combine with yeast mixture. Add enough flour as needed, until it can be handled without sticking to your hands. Knead until developed. Shape into 2 loaves and place into greased loaf 4 x 8-inch tins. Let rise to not quite double in bulk (1-2 hours). Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
