Ingredients
Directions
Water, warm, 1 cupYeast, bakers, 1/4 ounce (2-1/4 tsp)Granulated Sugar, 2 Tbsp + 2 tspFlour, white, 2-1/3 cupWhole Wheat Flour, 2/3 cupCorn Oil, 1/4 cupSalt, 1 tspCinnamon, ground, 2 Tbsp + 2 tspGranulated Sugar, 1/3 cupButter, unsalted, 2-3 Tbsp
Combine first 7 ingredients in bread maker per the order required by your machine and run on dough setting. OR..
Combine water, yeast, and 2 Tbsp + 2 tsp sugar in a bowl. When yeast is foamy, add other ingredients. Turn out on floured surface and knead until elastic. Return to bowl, cover, and let rise until double. Punch down.
Combine cinnamon and 1/3 cup sugar. Melt butter.
After first rise in machine or manually, roll out dough on floured surface to a 12x16 inch rectangle. Brush half the rectangle with butter; sprinkle on about half the cinnamon sugar. Fold the dough in half so it's now about 12x8 inches.
Brush entire rectangle with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. (You'll probably have some butter and sugar left over - I usually have about a Tbsp of butter and 1-2 Tbsp of cinnamon sugar left.)
Roll the dough from one shorter end to the other. Pinch seams together. Place in a nonstick or greased bread pan; cover with wet towel and let rise a bit.
Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30-35 minutes or until golden and hollow sounding when tapped.
Makes approximately 12 slices, one serving per slice.

You probably can't. It's not a diet food. However, as an occasional treat, it can still fit into a healthy diet. ;)
