Bacon cheddar jalapeño soup

Ingredients
4.0 tbsp Butter, salted0.75 cup, whipped Heavy Whipping Cream3.0 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth1.0 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese4.0 serving Bacon, Wright Smoked Bacon - 2 slices4.0 serving(s) Jalapeño1.0 tsp Onion powder1.0 tsp Thyme, ground1.0 tbsp garlic powder
Directions
Cut 8 pieces of bacon into approximately 1 inch pieces and fry until crispy. Drain on paper towels to allow to crisp. Cut up 4 jalapeños into small bits. Save seeds of you like it hot. Drain on top of the bacon. Keep as much bacon grease as possible. Put it into a soup pot with the chicken stock and butter and spices. Important : mix with immersion mixer so oil doesn't separate from soup base. Add heavy cream and cheese stirring for approx 5 minutes until smooth.
