Homemade White Whole Wheat English Muffins

Ingredients
4.5 cup King Arthur 100% Unbleached White Whole Wheat Flour 1.75 cup Milk, 1% 1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1.5 tsp Salt 2 tbsp Honey 1 ounce Yeast, bakers 3 tbsp Butter, salted
Directions
Boil milk, honey, butter and salt until just warm. Remove from heat and add egg.

Put flour and yeast into a bowl. Mix in warm milk for five minutes. Let rise one to two hours.

Form into English muffins and let rise another 20 minutes. Cook on a griddle 7-10 minutes each side. If they brown too quickly, bake in a 350 degree oven ten minutes. Cool and serve. Split with fork.
