This is my second review, but I wanted to add that I have made these many times since then and add a half cup of apple sauce instead of margarine and it works great! Great recipe. :) - 8/29/09

I made this recipe this recipe this afternoon and was really surprised at how great these muffins turned out! These muffins were very delicious and I will definitely try this recipe again. - 10/9/08

I made these the other day...had just picked a bunch of blueberries! I gave some to my family and they all loved them...I doubled the recipe and it made about 96 mini muffins...I'll have to freeze some...I added an extra cup of blueberries. It came out to about 53 calories for a mini muffin! - 8/6/08

These were great! Not too sweet, not too bland--just right for a healthy recipe. I recommend using fresh blueberries, not frozen. I think I'll add in an additional cup of berries the next time I make these for a juicy kick. Kudos to your Nana for a great recipe! :-) - 7/18/08

Made this this morning with fresh blueberries - so delicious! This is what I remember blueberry muffins tasting like when I was a child! :) I used butter instead of margarine and added 5 packets of True Lemon to the batter. Will definitely make again! - 7/25/13

Quick and easy! I made a few substitutions, less sugar(1/3 C sugar, 1/3 C splenda), used buttermilk(I was out of milk), used applesauce instead of butter and split the flour with whole wheat flour. I'm sure that they would have been great with out the substitutions though! - 1/31/11

very good - used wholewheat flour and frozen blackberries and they are fantastic - probably would add a couple of tbls of water next time and a little less time. - 1/28/10

I substituted a cup of the white flour for a cup of whole wheat flour, and added a teaspoon of vanilla. I also used natural evaporated cane juice in place of regular sugar. It is good, but a little less sugar would still taste great. Next time I use this recipe I will try three quaters cup. - 12/13/09
