What's a serving?One cookie? - 4/1/09

Yes. One serving = 1 cookie. The calorie count goes down if you use non-fat milk. You can reduce it further by using Splenda and reduced fat peanut butter.

I have made this for years and have made it without peanut butter but I do cook it a bit longer. Make sure the "whole" pan is boiling before timing or the cookies won't set properly. I don't use Splenda or other artificial sweeteners f/anything. I made these for my gf for years. Delicious !! :) - 8/15/08

so Thank you for this.. I am going to make it tonight! I don't see why the splenda wouldn't work , I have cooked many times with it and also equal. - 8/6/08

is the peanut butter necessary? and if you do it with splenda, silk, and fat free butter does it still work? - 7/23/08

Yes, peanut butter is necessary. It firms up the cookies. Reduced fat peanut butter or another nut butter might work. I haven't tried it yet. Soy milk will work, but I'm not sure about splenda or fat free butter. I am planning to try splenda on my next batch. I'll post it to the recipe if it works.
