Basic Raisin Scones

Ingredients
1/2 cup all purpose flour1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup oat bran/wheat bran/fiber one½ cup splenda2.5 tsp baking powder½ tsp baking soda¼ cup light butter or margarine¼ cup applesauce, unsweetened1 cup unsweetened almond milk1/3 cup raisins
Directions
Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Cut in margarine.
Make a well in center, add milk and mix gently just until a soft dough is formed.
Spoon heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
Makes about 16 scones.
